How to Simulate Transient Exhaust Systems
Exhaust systems are still a primary heat source in passenger vehicle underbody and underhood thermal systems. The Exhaust Stream part type in TAITherm provides a quick and easy way to simulate exhaust system temperatures and predict the amount of radiation that will then heat surrounding components.
This webinar will demonstrate using the Exhaust Stream in TAITherm to perform a transient heat transfer analysis. It will show how to use post-processing tools to immediately identify areas that are getting too hot, identify the main source of heat transfer, and quickly develop and test heat shield concepts within the software.
